Production Characteristics

1. Enameled square aluminum wire consists of an aluminum conductor and an insulating enamel coating. The conductor is annealed, coated and cured under controlled conditions.
2. Enamel provides electrical insulation. Thermal class does not establish flame retardancy or electromagnetic shielding; mechanical properties depend on conductor temper and the insulation system.
3. Aluminum has approximately 30% of the density of copper at equal volume. Winding weight and cost depend on conductor dimensions, required resistance and the winding design.
